She was orphaned when the Chaos Virus spread through her home colony when she was 6.
She was later raised by a then 18-year old T-Breaker named Tremontane Zanzibar(An expy of both Paptimus Scirroco and Ramba Ral).
Sometime after becoming an adult, she was living on her own and got in a dangerous situation and was saved by Insteaf Stonelarr.

Aside from being raised by a Ramba Expy and living, she has nothing in common with Sayla Mass.
